High-Protein Diet
High-Protein Vegan Meals
High-protein vegan meals that hit the number without any animal products at all.
Building a high-protein vegan meal takes a little more planning because meat, eggs, and dairy are all off the table. That means ingredients like tofu, tempeh, seitan, beans, lentils, edamame, higher-protein grains, and sometimes protein powder have to do more of the work.
I don't eat a vegan diet myself, so I approach these recipes from a recipe-development standpoint: how do you make a completely plant-based meal that still delivers plenty of protein and tastes good? The goal is to create recipes that make sense as food first, rather than forcing ingredients into a dish just to hit a protein number.
